Dead dogs and cats? Poisonous chemicals? Toxic ingredients? Have you read something about these topics or seen comments about these shocking facts?  Are you now so confused you have no idea what to feed your pet and are suffering extreme anxiety afraid that you will somehow harm your best friend or shorten their life span? If you identify with these statements then, this site is for you.

This site is designed with the everyday pet owner in mind. The information contained on this site has been put together to help resettle the minds of startled, worried consumers. For now there will be no references, I will tell you where to look though. I feel that getting the information out there as soon as possible is very important. In time the site will expand and grow. I will simply throw my thoughts out there as others have done and let you then be empowered to make your own decisions.

For now, initially, this site will contain simple written articles to help quell fears that have been inflicted upon people who just simply want to feed their pet a good diet. They just want to know what to purchase or where to start. They are not interested in the specifics of protein levels or the importance of probiotics and they don’t even know what something like “human grade” means. Not only are they confused they are afraid to ask as the internet has graduated thousands of “nutritional experts” that just seem to love embarrassing newcomers and causing the uninformed to feel like utter failures. While for the most part these people are well meaning and honestly believe in the sermons they deliver unfortunately, many of their facts are wrong, many of their ideologies are based on false pretenses and many of them brow beat you, the everyday Joe pet owner to death as if you were feeding your pet a bag of arsenic. You are not feeding your pet poison.

If the above paragraphs seemed to describe you or intrigue you please surf this site and let your sanity return or satisfy your curiosity. I will not be telling you what food to feed or what product to purchase. What I promise to do however, is give you back the confidence and ability to select a diet for your pet without a Ph.D. in small animal nutrition.
