Hel-lo, my name is Stanley and I am a Severe Macaw. I am a holy terror and have a terrific mini-macaw attitude. People tremble at the sight of my beak ha-ha! I was purchased at Bird Paradise in Burlington NJ in the spring of 2005. My hatch date is 06/11/04 and I am most certainly male. I love to talk and already have a great vocabulary. So far I say: step-up, hello, what??, Stan, Stanley, very bad bird, whatever, hi, big bad bird as well as giggle. I also make kissy noises and clicks. Don’t be fooled if people say we are not good talkers because I add a new word at least once per week since I began talking and spend 2 hours per day saying all my words over and over and over AND over again, much to my humans’ dismay lol I also like to scream, this makes everyone’s hair fall out and Nana even threatened me with physical harm ha-ha, I love it!
Seriously though, I do have a good side. I love to cuddle and share some good viddles as well as look cute when I want to. I am a very intelligent creature and people will do themselves a favor to heed what I say.....watch for my infamous “Stan says...” and let me lend you some advice.
